I was in Paris last week and it was cold (at least for me it was …I live in Dubai). Ok …maybe not that cold …you needed a cardigan or a jacket over a t-shirt and you could stroll the streets of Paris comfortably. But because smart me packed nothing warm, I ended up wearing my husband’s cardigan for most of the days in the city.

Here, I am wearing a t-shirt T by Alexander Wang, high waist skinny jeans from zara (I got these recently and are so soft and comfy), my old suede ankle booties by Isabel Marant, Celine handbag and my husband’s Saint Laurent cardigan. Yes, The Husband cardigan! Why is it always the Boyfriend? Boyfriend t-shirt, boyfriend jeans, boyfriend cardigan …Is the husband style not as good of a selling point in the marketing world of fashion?  ok …I am not going to go into a marketing strategy analysis.

So, when I was not wearing The husband cardigan, I was wearing this new jacket I got while in Paris. A Balenciaga biker jacket. Yes, I know …I am crazy! Summer is here and I am buying leather jackets. But I had three good reasons to get this:

– The Balenciaga biker jacket is a tailored leather classic.

– It never goes on sale. Actually the price goes up every year. Hence, an investment!

– My husband needed to wear his cardigan …he was cold too.
